The Sauermann SI-52 is a peristaltic condensate pump designed for all types of air conditioning units up to 8kW, including wall units, air conditioning cabinets, ceiling units, and ducted units. Controlled by a float switch with three detection levels (on, off, safety), the safety contact automatically stops the air conditioner compressor or solenoid valve to prevent condensate overflow. The SI-52 is the direct replacement for the discontinued Sauermann PE5200.

The SI-52 is the direct successor to the discontinued Sauermann PE5200. Note: replacement heads (ACC00954) and hoses (ACC00953) for the SI-50/51/52 are not backward-compatible with the older PE series.

Is the SI-52 a direct replacement for the PE5200?

Yes. The SI-52 uses float switch detection and is Sauermann's recommended direct replacement for the discontinued PE5200.

Can I use PE5200 spare parts (tubes, heads) on the SI-52?

No. The replacement heads (ACC00954) and hoses (ACC00953) for the SI-50/51/52 are not backward-compatible with the older PE series. Sauermann recommends replacing the complete unit with an SI-52.

What is the difference between the SI-52 and the SI-51?

The SI-51 uses temperature differential (thermal probe) detection and is not compatible with reversible or inverter systems. The SI-52 uses float switch detection and is compatible with a wider range of AC systems.

Does the SI-52 work on UK 230V supply?

Yes. The SI-52 runs on 230V~ 50/60Hz standard UK mains supply.

Is the SI-52 suitable for R32 systems?

Yes. The pump handles condensate water only and is refrigerant-agnostic.
