The Sauermann Si-52 is a peristaltic condensate pump designed for air-conditioning units up to 8 kW, including wall units, air-conditioning cabinets, ceiling units and ducted units. Controlled by a float switch with three detection levels (on, off and safety), the safety contact can be used to stop the air conditioner compressor or solenoid valve to help prevent condensate overflow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use PE-5200 spare parts (tubes, heads) on the Si-52?

No. The replacement heads (ACC00954) and hoses (ACC00953) for the Si-50/51/52 are not backward-compatible with the PE series. Use the PE-series replacement parts specified for the PE-5200, or the Si-series parts specified for the Si-52.

What is the difference between the Si-52 and the Si-51?

The Si-51 uses temperature differential (thermal probe) detection and is not compatible with reversible or inverter systems. The Si-52 uses float switch detection and is compatible with a wider range of AC systems.

Does the Si-52 work on UK 230 V supply?

Yes. The Si-52 runs on 230 V~ 50/60 Hz standard UK mains supply.

Is the Si-52 suitable for R32 systems?

Yes. The pump handles condensate water only and is refrigerant-agnostic.
