K-Flex K-Rock ALU Mineral Wool Pipe Insulation — 40mm Wall
K-FLEX K-Rock ALU is a pre-formed mineral wool (rock wool) pipe section with an aluminium foil facing, manufactured to the highest European standards. Engineered for high-temperature HVAC, industrial, and building services pipework where elastomeric insulation is unsuitable, K-Rock ALU delivers outstanding thermal performance, fire resistance, and mechanical durability in demanding environments.
The 40mm wall thickness is suited to larger-bore and higher-temperature pipework in industrial plant rooms, district heating mains, steam distribution, and process pipework where maximum thermal resistance and Euroclass A1 fire performance are required. Available in bore sizes from 15mm to 273mm.
The factory-applied aluminium foil laminate provides a clean, professional finish and acts as a vapour barrier, making K-Rock ALU the preferred specification for plant rooms, district heating, steam lines, and high-temperature process pipework. Seal all joints and longitudinal seams with aluminium foil tape for a complete vapour-tight installation.
