How It Works

Apply a thin film of Nylog Blue to the male threads before assembly. The high-viscosity sealant fills micro-gaps and imperfections, creating a durable, elastic gasket that withstands vibration, thermal cycling, and high system pressures. Unlike traditional tape or paste, Nylog never hardens, allowing future disassembly without damage to threads.

Application Instructions

1. Clean threads thoroughly with a wire brush or solvent wipe to remove oil, dirt, and old sealant.
2. Shake bottle well before use.
3. Using the integrated brush, apply a thin, even coat to the male threads only – starting one thread back from the end.
4. Do not apply to female threads.
5. Assemble the joint immediately while the sealant is wet.
6. Tighten to the manufacturer’s torque specifications.
7. Wipe excess with a clean cloth – no curing time required.
8. For flare fittings: apply to flare face and threads; do not use with PTFE tape.
