Evaporator Coils - Larger Systems and Air Handling Units

• Dilution: 1:8 (makes 45 litres).
• Isolate the unit if necessary.
• Apply with a low-pressure sprayer on a coarse pattern, starting at the top and working down.
• Saturate to run-off. Leave the air flow on for penetration if possible.
• Rinse with clean water. Rinse water is non-hazardous.

Split-Style Units - Smaller and Split Units

• Dilution: 1:8 (makes 45 litres).
• Turn off the unit and isolate electrics.
• Apply as above, soak for 5 minutes.
• No rinsing required—cooling process rinses naturally (rinse heat pumps).
• Turn unit on.

Air-Cooled Condensers

• Dilution: 1:4 (makes 25 litres).
• Isolate the unit.
• Apply with a low-pressure sprayer, allow 5-10 minutes to work.
• Rinse thoroughly. More effective on warm condensers.

Air Filters

• Dilution: 1:2 (makes 15 litres).
• Turn off the unit and fans.
• Spray liberally, penetrate for 5 minutes.
