90° Elbows
Short radius 90° copper elbows for tight-radius direction changes on refrigerant pipework. Available in 3/8", 1/2", 7/8", 1 3/8", and 1 5/8" OD. Male-female street elbows in 1 1/8", 1 3/8", and 1 5/8" for reduced-fitting-count installations. All elbows are solder-end for silver brazing with refrigeration-grade brazing rods.
45° Elbows
45° copper elbows for gradual direction changes and offset pipework runs. Available in 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1 1/8", and 1 5/8" OD. Use 45° elbows in preference to 90° where space allows — lower pressure drop and reduced turbulence in the refrigerant circuit.
Socket Couplers
Copper socket couplers for joining two lengths of copper pipe in a straight run. Available in 1/2", 5/8", 7/8", 1 1/8", and 1 5/8" OD. Use where pipe lengths need extending or where a damaged section requires replacement.
Installation Notes
Always use refrigeration-grade copper fittings on refrigerant circuits — plumbing-grade fittings are not rated for refrigerant pressures or temperatures. Deburr pipe ends before fitting using a reamer or deburring tool. Braze with silver brazing rods under nitrogen purge to prevent internal oxidation.
