How to Use:
Cutting Tubing (70033)
- Open cutter and place it around the tubing
- Tighten the cutter wheel against tubing
- Rotate the cutter around tubing
- Gradually tighten whilst rotating
- Continue until the tube is cut through
- Deburr cut end before flaring
Creating 45° Flares (70051)
- Cut tubing to length using 70033 cutter
- Deburr inside and outside of the cut end
- Select appropriate flaring cone size
- Place tubing in the flaring bar
- Position the tubing to correct height
- Tighten flaring bar securely
- Thread the flaring cone into position
- Tighten cone to create a 45° flare
- Remove tubing and inspect flare
Creating Professional Flares:
- Clean Cuts – Use sharp cutter for square cuts
- Deburr Thoroughly – Remove all burrs inside and outside
- Correct Height – Position the tubing at the proper height in flaring bar
