The Blue Diamond S12-002 Temperature Sensor is a smart, solid-state accessory for MicroBlue and MaxiBlue condensate removal pumps. Rather than relying on a water float switch or reservoir, it uses dual thermistor probes to detect when your air conditioning unit is actively cooling — automatically activating the pump the moment condensate begins to form.

How It Works

• Dual Thermistor Probes: One probe is placed at the air inlet, the other at the air outlet (heat exchanger) of the AC unit.
• The 5°C Rule: When the AC starts cooling and a temperature difference of more than 5°C is detected between the two probes, the sensor assumes the unit is running and automatically switches the pump on.
• Automatic Shut-off: Once the AC stops and the temperature difference drops below 5°C, the pump runs briefly to clear any remaining water, then shuts off.
