The Javac JAV-1025 Edge Expander Set is a professional lever-type tube expander set covering 7 imperial sizes from 1/4" to 1-1/8", designed for clean, accurate bell-mouth expansions in soft drawn copper tubing. Part of the Javac Edge range, featuring a patented design for reliable, repeatable results on site.

⚠️ Important: This tool is suitable for soft drawn coiled copper only. For hard tubes, the tip of the tube must be heated first to facilitate expansion. Do not use on hard drawn straight copper without pre-heating.

How to Use

1. Prepare the tube by deburring the inner and outer rims
2. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the expander cone and attach the correct expander head
3. Insert the expander head all the way into the tube. If the opening is too tight, first expand the tip using the smaller section at the end of the expander head
4. Bring the handles together to expand the tube. For best results, expand slightly, rotate the tube, then expand again — this ensures even expansion in all directions
5. Repeat until the tube is fully expanded
