The Blue Diamond C21-008 MegaBlue® Reservoir Sensor is a solid-state water-collection tank and electronic sensor kit engineered specifically for the MegaBlue® condensate pump — the heavy-duty model in the BlueDiamond® lineup, capable of handling up to 50 litres per hour and pumping condensate up to six storeys high. Using advanced thermistor technology with no moving parts, it delivers maintenance-free, fail-safe condensate management for demanding commercial HVAC and refrigeration installations.

How It Works

• Water Collection: The plastic reservoir sits inside or just below the AC unit to catch falling condensate water droplets.
• Solid-State Sensing: Thermistor technology detects water physically present in the reservoir — no mechanical float, immune to algae, slime, or mould build-up.
• Pump Trigger: When water is detected, the sensor signals the MegaBlue® pump to run. Once the tank is empty, the pump shuts off automatically.

• Fail-Safe Alarm (FSA): Built-in volt-free safety relay. If condensate reaches a critical overflow level due to a blocked pipe or power loss, it immediately triggers an alarm to cut power to the AC unit — preventing flooding — while keeping the pump running to clear the blockage.
• MegaBlue® Compatible: Pre-wired 2m cable with dedicated connection plug designed specifically for the MegaBlue® pump body.
