The Blue Diamond C21-013 MaxiBlue® Reservoir Sensor is a compact external water-collection tank and electronic sensor kit manufactured by Charles Austen Pumps. Designed for use with BlueDiamond® MaxiBlue condensate removal pumps, it replaces unreliable mechanical float switches with solid-state thermistor technology — delivering maintenance-free, fail-safe condensate management for air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

How It Works

• Water Collection: The plastic reservoir sits inside or just below the AC unit to catch falling condensate water droplets.
• Solid-State Sensing: BlueDiamond® thermistor technology detects water level without any mechanical float — immune to slime, algae, and dirt build-up.
• Pump Trigger: When water rises to the trigger level, the sensor signals the pump to run. Once the tank is empty, the pump shuts off automatically.

• No Moving Parts: Highly reliable and maintenance-free — no float to clog or stick from airborne dust or biological build-up off AC coils.
• Fail-Safe Alarm (FSA): High-level alarm circuitry detects critical water levels. If the pump loses power or a drain line blocks, the sensor triggers a built-in relay to safely shut down the AC system before overflow damage occurs.
• Plug-and-Play: Pre-wired plug connects directly into the control port on the MaxiBlue pump housing — no wiring required.
